Children & Family Therapy

I specialize in child-centered art therapy designed for both kids and their families, incorporating imaginative play and narrodrama inspired by the therapeutic principles of drama therapy. These methods promote self-expression, build self-esteem, and encourage children to explore and communicate their feelings in a safe, playful environment. My goal is to support children's emotional growth through creative and interactive therapeutic techniques. These methods foster self-expression, strengthen self-esteem, and help children explore and communicate their feelings within a safe and playful environment. My goal is to nurture children’s emotional growth through creative, interactive therapeutic approaches.

My therapeutic approach with children is engaged, spontaneous, and always infused with play and joy. I work from a trauma-informed perspective grounded in family systems and Gestalt therapy, supporting children and families in finding new ways to connect and communicate. Because children often lack the emotional vocabulary to express trauma, loss, or family pain, I provide a safe space for exploration, role play, and metaphor. I encourage families to interact in ways different from home—sometimes through joint drawings, embodiment exercises, or playful collaboration—so that new patterns of connection can emerge. Together we set goals and hold expectations for the work to extend beyond the therapy room, helping families carry growth into their daily lives.
